Vassmoen and the Arc
The film “Vassmoen and the Light Beam – The Breakthrough That Reached the World” tells the exciting story of how Froland played a part in helping to save the world from famine in the early 20th century.
The film is new for the 2026 season and was created by filmmakers Kristian Landmark and Arild Bødalen. It lasts 10–11 minutes and is available in both Norwegian and English versions.
The Abel-film
In this film, you are guided through Niels Henrik Abel’s short but remarkable life, which reached its final chapter at Frolands Verk – and you may gain a new appreciation of the lasting significance of the mathematician’s work today.
The film lasts just under 20 minutes and was created by local historian Ivar Salvesen and photographer Raymond Martinsen.
